It came super fast.And the product is dependable.It survived moving FOUR TIMES from North Cali to Southern Cali to Illinois too our second and better house in Illinois.Only to finally break a little when I dropped it.SO I buy the same brand AGAIN.As its proved its worth.
If you are looking for a permanent enclosure to use for an external hard drive, you might want to look for something that's built a little better. For that, it worked just fine. My laptop HD started to have problems, and wouldn't boot anymore. Before I lost everything I bought this product hooked it up to my PC to get my needed files. Did what I needed it to do.
cheaply made (even for a super mass produced product from china).The unit I received was defective and it is on its way back for a refund.btw, if you insist of getting this, bear in mind that it supports drives of no more than 120gb.
If you value what's on the drive, spend the extra money just to be on the safe side. I returned mine. Decent product but hard drive did not seem to be held in there well - you get exactly what you pay for on this. Also requires use of two USB drives.
It is working fine as an external hard disk. I took a 20 GB hard disk (Hitachi) from a broken Dell Latitude L400 and place it in this enclosure. The hard disk must be removed from the Dell mounting bracket and connector before intalling it in the Infosafe.
